The initiative, organized by the cultural association Liber in collaboration with the house of parliament, with the patronage of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers and of eleven Ministries, reunited a hundred protagonists of excellence among personalities, entities and companies that with their history and their work has achieved prestigious results in their respective fields in Italy and all over the world. The story of Le Spose di Giò started in 1975 when sisters Giovanna and Marisa De Capitani finilized their creativity and experiences, gained respectively in high fashion and design, at the service of the wedding industry: the essential image of the atelier combines a essential tailoring line, refinement and fabrics very high quality.
The gowns are entirely designed, cut and made in Milan. The tailors, stylists, modellers know with experience and ability how to interpret and create the dress for each bride, as the Italian tailoring tradition teaches.
“We are really proud to have received this prestigious recognition” -declares Chiara Gatti, daughter of Giovanna- “and we are happy to share it with our seamstresses, who with wise hands make our clothes, with consultants of our Ateliers, with our collaborators and of course with all the brides who chose us in almost 50 years of activity. Thank you”.
This recognition is the fruit of collaboration of more than sixty women that love their job and work closely for a unique mission: love for dress creation and desire of showing the excellence of their skill.
